My GP is also a surgeon (from when he was a country doc) and will do (in fact loves doing) minor surgery in his rooms, bulk billed, no cost...

For the High Country which is the main location where I spend my time and cold climates, I have a down filled MacPac -7 bag, it's also waterproof. Cost me a bit but it's a ripper.

That's not how it was put to me.
I was told that they would offer the members here the same insurance coverage and permit access as paid up association members.
I thought it was worthwhile...

A portion of the fees goes to the 4wd association who do a lot to keep tracks and access to the high country open for all.....even for those who choose not to contribute.
