Pretty sure they were. I know they had washers as spacers and now they don't as they are now the hydraulic lifters.

For sure - the engine always warms up first. Especially here in Siberia I have a pre-start circulation heater to bring the engine up to temp before I even crank it.

I'm pretty sure they kept all the springs and valves from the original turbo head - just cleaned them up and reseated them with the new lifters.

No doubt something got in the #4 cylinder and chewed it up. Trying to find a replacement head, but it's not too easy here.

Dropped it off to get the head completely rebuilt. Not looking forward to the bill, but a necessary expense.

That's exactly what I followed when I installed it. I know that's what the instructions say, but logically it is backwards. It's the only catch can in their lineup that uses that inlet/outlet...
