How did this mod effect the fuel gauge? Does the needle go over full or does it just take a bit longer for the needle to move from full?

This morning I learned of a friend from my teenage / early adulthood life overdosed and died in his car this morning in Melbourne. I find it particularly sad that he died alone on a dark rainy night...
