Depends....
If you leave the Boost Control Solenoid connected in the system you don't need the Needle valve. You would choose this option if you are only concerned about preventing over boosting....

you may find it spools up too fast, I fitted my needle valve under the bonnet as set and forget, others mount them in cab.
