After 18 months and lots of battles with workcover I finally had my back operation today, now recovering with some great happy drugs.

The old girl has taken us to every state in this country in the 11 years of ownership. Next will be to try and get to every capital city. Not to bad for a 28 year old petrol donk..

Well that didn't last long.
570ks today and lost the dash once for about 10ks very late in the day. Convinced that it's got nothing to do with the cruise.

Just got over the wa border into mundrabilla Roadhouse. Norseman tomorrow about 650ks.
Tell ya tho everyone has to do this drive.

Something maybe be not right with ye'old TD42. I changed the oil before i did a 4500k run up north and back. water temps as mentioned were fine, only because i wasn't towing and the ambient...

Too late as your probably on the road but i do recall something about a particular solder joint on the Dash panel pcb can come lose. This can be corrected by resoldering the joint. If its an earth...

Just thinking about this and if a fuse was blown it wouldn't have come back good. Earth maybe, but have no idea where to start.

Think I'll pull out the switch 1st..
