there was a special when we bought then a year ago where you buy two for the price of one with the maps included but i think these days they go for around 400.00 odd.

One more thing to check if its not the LPV....A while ago i rebuilt my GQ brakes (was actually upgrading to the twin spot EFI Fronts) and before I started the job everything was pretty well balanced....

It will be th Alternator. Mine went just before Xmas and had the Batt Light, Water in Filter light and the Brake light all come on.
Replaced the alternator and all good.

Is the switch physically the same as any 12v patrol? Might actually be the same switch.
Alternatively..maybe you can source one from an NZ parts place..might be a bit of googling though
