hi guys, figured i'd put up pictures of my car. Plenty of plans for more mods but a house is more important :/ never thought i'd say that but its at a level that i can enjoy it as it is with friends on local tracks and then take it anywhere all over Aus if i want obvious plans include bigger lift 35's etc. one of my mates is making up rocksliders as i post this and we'll hopefully have them done soon as my sills have taken some rock panelbeating LOL... anyway heres some pics!

thanks guys, yeah that first photo is amasing i wish i had a fisheye lens for my 550D but $1000 for a lens is out of my price range. It was taken by Matt Fehlburg from 4WD Action, top bloke. Its already been in Custom guide issue 48 the last custom guide and will be in the next ultimate tourers i'm led to believe. They hit me up whilst watching 4x4 masters :D

Nice looking Rig mate, liking the color, unfortunately mines due for a respray and that color is top of the list now :)

heres another fisheye one from a similar angle but this one is bigger and closer shows off the paint, i gave it a polish with an orbital polisher and some menzerna polishes of differing grades, i think she came up tops but definantly a do it every 3 month job and its not fun! but i guess to keep that look...

Have to use some serious polish on that back quarter panel boss!!! lol

Time to invest in an orbital polisher me thinks ... not that my gun barrel grey will come up a treat like that!!

haha yeah my panelbeater did a fantastic job on fixing it though! and with the polishers you're best off getting a Random Orbital polisher as with an Orbital its easy to burn through the paint and get a horrible hologram effect going I was going to buy one but i could borrow the one from work for free so i was just very careful. I get my detailing stuff from waxit they're pretty good priced and more aimed at the pros but if you know what your after much better than the stuff they sell through supercheap and they sell a really good RO polisher but i think it was around $225? good for masking those bush pinstripes!

Looks like a Milweld

Yep it's a millweld fat hoop comp bar to suit the widened highmount with built in fairlead which was an extra $80 and I got slots for airflow to the radiator too and a couple of brackets for spotlights and there's a UHF antenna tab

iv got the same winch and looking at that millweld bar as well. keep up the good work.

Yeah way too many toys lol just ask my girlfriend! I chose the millweld as I don't have any room at all behind the grille because of the intercooler, all others that could fit the highmount sat it too far back right where the intercooler is, it may still need a trim with the braces on the back of the drum but it should be ok with clearance, I rang patroldocta but his sat too far back and the raslarr one wasnt exactly what i was after, the millweld came in cheapest and he actually has the same highmount and 13" drum for mockup, it took a while to be made but they're very busy and I was happy with the service

Winch has also been done, I think it looks a million bucks and cost me almost that! Lol
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...013/09/137.jpg and put it in the millweld bar, will have to call them on Monday though, the winch brake touches the top hoop unfortunately but I think some 5mm spacers made up and some longer bolts it'll be ok but I'll ask first... Also I need to widen the holes a little as the drum must be slightly wider but no big deal and I'm incredibly happy with how it looks! I'm getting ready for Fraser Island in 2 weeks so I hope I can sort it before then!
