swampy and ozzy's (oh and the hilux guy's) exellent adventure at lcmp

well, we headed out 5 am friday morning from south of brissie, arrived at 9'ish.
Set up swampy's new camper trailer, then straight to the pig pen :)
Plenty of rocks in brakes, but reasonably unscathed.
We finished friday with some axe throwing and beers. (just seemed the right thing to do :bananarock:

Saturday, we hit the trails ... well that was interesting.Solid 8 hours of hills, slopes, crossings.
Hilux lost all brakes
swampy managed to get water in dizzy cap
i managed to get myself cross rutted on a lovely 45 degree down hill slope. ( sphincter muscles are just starting to relax a tad now)

All of the kids had a great time ( including the big kids :) )

Can't wait to get back and do it all again.

Fun place accept the pig pen. To much damn mud for my liking.

If you can pick a suburb from that level of detail in a photo, then you obviously have waaaaay too much time on your hands ... driving around memorising streetscapes!!! lol

Very niceeeee mate...

I thing I noticed, that bung like rubber cap on the chassis over the rear wheel are best remove imo and re route your rear axle breather to somewhere else. Those caps tends to hold mud and dirts inside, bad rust build up on that area inside. Same thing goes on the front springs top housing, I'd removed those thin plates on the top of the housing..you'll be surprise to find out old mud and dirts in there too..
