I think everyone is using soft shackles mate. Might be time to change

cheers. No drama in changing my existing soft shackle won't fit thru the rather small holes.
If a D shackle and your soft shackle will not fit through the hole, I question whether the point you are using is a true recovery point. I would be VERY careful here.
Thanks. But they are definitely recovery points as advertised by Premcar. In the promotional material.Apparently I am not the only one struggling to find a shackle that fits.On the Facebook Warrior group someone suggests Matrax Fuse soft shackle fits.Thay are a 10mm diameter might get one and try.
What is the diameter of the hole in the recovery point?
Do not believe everything in the promo material - believe it or not advertising blurb has been known to stretch the truth a tad. Have a real good look at the alleged 'recovery point'. Is it welded or one piece? What thickness material is used? To what is it attached? How is it attached? Is there a certification of any sort anywhere? Is there some rating provided? Has it got smooth edges in the hole that will not damage a soft shackle? Is it simply a 'tow' or 'tie-down' point?
Maybe show us where it is claimed to be a 'recovery point' and/or show us some detailed photos.
Can you link to the website so we are seeing what you are. And a photo would be handy.
Edit : Just found the Premcar website, I'd be very careful using those. The rear points looks rather small going by the website picture. Which is small also.
For the fronts i'd go these.

Not sure if there is aftermarket rear points for sale, i've never looked. But I'd be looking into those if they are available.
But at the end of the website they also state "§ The towbar as a system is certified to 3,500kg in accordance with Australian Design Rules" so it would appear the recovery points are part of the towbar system, not bolted directly to the chassis like rated recovery points are.
The rear recovery points are actually part of the tow bar. Note Premcar changed the towbar setup so the larger tyres fit in the spare wheel compartment. Will take a few photo's Friday when I am back with my car. Will have to check if the fronts fit due under body protection plate and revised suspension set up of the Warrior
Might be easier to simply get a receiver hitch recovery point.
Plenty of those around, cheap and been fine for decades.

I have a receiver hitch and soft shackles for recovery points. Will never require recovering in a y62, only use for recovering other vehicles
