Beach run 03-09-11

:driving2::driving2::driving2:I gotta get out and have a run up the beach
and will be going the weekend of 03-09-11
either Friday arvo or saturday , as long as i get outta here, i dont care what day we leave.
going to stay over night by hook or crook ,
and would be great to have a few of the mob here ..................there.!!!!
more the merrier,

Place
Breton Bay just up past Yanchep
some sand dunes to play on, beach to drive.
gunna have a nice big fire and a few beers, over a barbi
(i have a large barbi plate for this sort of trip.)
and maybe chuck a line out
a mate of mine has a new way in and should be easier than the way i normally go in.

so far have 5-6 vehicles including a 6 wheel drive Pinzgaugher Austrian military vehicle

Thanks for the offer Paul, but I'm driving to Geraldton and back (8hrs each way) this weekend and in 2 weeks, I'll be in Perth for 2 weeks on a work course (without wheels)

got in in the neck from the kids ...the wife... the old folks ....ect some thing about fathers day
i thought it was the week after hahahaha

mate, no can do this weekend, my life wouldn't be worth living.......... seeing as I went 4wding on the missus birthday last time !!!!!!!hahahahahahahaha

will be there with the little ones for the day and looking forward to getting out more too........let me know where to meet up and i will be there.

well we are back
it was a good day, sunny most of it and only rained when we started to cook lunch, hahahahahaha flamming typical lol
a few time`s getting bogged, me twice to start with,
and the second bogging ...............got us all stuck on the beach for a while
we worked our tails off to get out of that spot,
with the tide starting to lap at Timbars wheels, things got into fast mode to get his bus up on higher ground.
Timbo got bogged good and proper hahahahaha he can tell all lol
lucky had the Max tracks with us, without them, things might have gone a bit differant, first time i have taken them off the roof rack.
they worked a treat and i could`nt praise them enough, we used them on all the vehicles, one bus at a time,
to get us off the beach.
had a good look around for camping and fishing spots, found a few good one`s and a couple of likely one`s ,
the aircraft i found in the bush on Google, was`nt there, was one of the reasons for going up there.
might be one for Evil to answer please mate, it`s plain as day on the piccies on google ...but aint there when we arrived at the spot, and no evidence of it being there,odd because in the piccie it looks like the wings have the tips damaged?????
the sand dunes there are good to play in, the beach has too much weed on it in most places,
and soft as, in the rest. storms over the last few weeks, made some spots inpassable.
anyroad im down loading the piccies now and will put them up soon,
the video`s will be up later,
Showing Timbar airbourne comming up a sand dune is one of the good parts lol
he had his window down he ended covered in sand inside the bus and outside,
anyroad back to down loading

had an awsome day out with the boys and dragged the kids along aswell...they had a blast and glad they came cause there all buggered out and it was peacefull on the trip home :049:didnt have to answer 10000000 questions, yes got stuck good and proper some thing about air pressure:redface::thumbup: hmmmm didnt have that problem in darwin but hey:thumbup: all in all was a great day will be investing in

1. tyre deflator
2. airpump
3. some maxtrax
4. and some bloody new tyres for the rear.
