Up for a new radiator

I reckon I'm up for a new radiator. Looks like the current one is starting to weep at the plastic crimps up top. It was on the cards to get replaced anyway as it's nearing 20yo, its the original factory one. And summer is approaching.
Any recommendations? I don't tow. Car runs pretty cool. Yeah she gets warm on hot days and up hills, but never seen it over 90-92ish (Redarc gauge). Its a TD thing.

I have Aussie Desert Coolers under a KM from my place. Do I speak to them or are them high end ones a overkill?

Gday Hodge. Smarter people on here will know why, but absolutely stick with OEM for the TD42. And make sure you keep or replace good foam seals around the perimeter. These engines don’t kettle if you don’t mess with them.

I see the same from a crd, up to 95c if towing.

Don’t go to Aussie Desert. I had one of their radiators, had issues and they weren’t keen on helping. I did hear they were like this from others also.
I then went a full triple core copper radiator. Was ok but fatter than the oem core and things were a bit tight. I then bought an aftermarket copy of the original. Worked fine until til the lower hose split due to the lower fitting being 20mm longer that standard so the hose was just rubbing against the a/c compressor.
So now I have a Nissan radiator back in and have zero issues.
The Jayrad radiators are about as close you will get to original too.
FYI, none of the radiators cooled better that each other too. Trust me, my kettle tested them all out. In the end. Original is the best.

I'm having issues finding a genuine one? My patrol needs whats apparently known as the "Tall" type for the TD42TI. I quickly rang around late arvo yesterday and most said good luck. There was one place which had a couple but bent fins during transport for a discount and I'm not gonna mess with that.
I need one like ASAP, so the Jayrad unit might be the good to get me through for a little bit. One place I spoke to even said to get my one re-cored and it'll still be better than any aftermarket unit.

I'll bring some good full stainless clamps home for you mate if you like. They'll have the liner on the inside of them to stop the perforations of the clamp biting into the hose.

OEM or equivalent. NATRAD or Anrad. Your TD is performing awesome. Don't fix what aint broke. Consider getting your current one rodded and they can probably re-clamp that seam

I ended up going with the Patrolaparts equivalent. "Jayrad" as I needed one pronto.
I will keep my original unit and get it re-vamped as you mentioned. Just gotta find a good place locally to get it done. It is in real good nick (externally anyway), apart from that slight weep at the seams.
Also holy heck. The empty weight difference between it and the equivalent...

The incoming Patrol project has leaking Aussie Desert rad and is overheating. We'll just mount the lift kit from 4Wheelonline onto the Jeep and we'll take the Patrol in and see if it needs a new rad.

@GregRT, you make a point of mentioning 4Wheelonline and your Jeep a lot. Are you affiliated with that site?
You seem to post links to it when referring to Jeep parts, which are not relevant here.
