Take it to a powder-coater and get it done right the first time
Peebee is right, but I've used this stuff as a quick fix before.... Does the job

Powder coating is the best, but was out of my budget, so I gave mine a rub down with wet and dry http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2018/01/30.jpg
And gave it several coats of

Leaving plenty of time between coats and it turned out like this

That looks great, good job
That looks amazing! Thanks for that.
Powder coating is out of my price range too, at the moment. :-)

I had a bullbar powdercoated mid last year in saturn black and it was only $330.
If anyone is over this side, i have found Perth Powder Coaters in Fairbrother St, Belmont excellent value for cash jobs. Just make sure you have correct cash as they don't do change, $40 job became $50 & was still cheap.
I had a ARB bullbar blasted and powdercoated for $300.
The original condition was borderline sand blasted anyway as it was a car used to drive cops around remote SA, Coober pedy etc...
For $300 it was done with a zinc primer as well and ever since then all the major deep gauges in the bar show no rust.
If i was to paint it, i'd be simply doing the whole thing in the Whit Knight rust guard gloss.
