Hi Damo , mine has the turning circle of a B double if that helps and when in low range more like one of those big road trains .
When I drove a GU coil wagon I was quite shocked at how much better the turning circle on it was compared to my leafy GU ute.
You haven't got GU diffs in them by chance?

turning circle? its more of a turning arc.
Still has a better turning circle than a TP Magna.
turning circle? what's that then?
For some people, it's full lock and pedal to the metal - but not me.
I have respect for my 'Award winning weapon' - besides, I can't afford to have it impounded and be off the road for 6 months! PML

Cheers for the replies. Seems I'm not alone then. In the dunes it seems OK. Just plant my foot to bring it around.
Just a pain to park. Seems I'm always taking a couple of bites to get into a spot. I doubt I've got GU diffs as it was stock as when I got it a few weeks ago.
i thought the gq turning circle was bad until i got my 79dc
My mate had a PT Cruiser, I’ll bet that would have to have the worst turning circle of any car ever produced.
A straight Uturn in my GU would be a five point turn for him.
So does anyone know how many meters the turning circle of a GQ is. Apart from huge.
It is quite poor but my previous civic was any better.
I didn't measure this but found out on a car comparison site that the turning circle is 13.4 meters. Yes rather large.
