yeah i wouldn't go to freo
I suppose the night tour of Freo Gaol is ok...... been 10 years since I did that though..... Markets are done by tourists but are a bit poo..... Little Creatures brewery is ok to get pissed on craft beer, cider and eat pizza
The market & the buskers there are worth a look. Micro brewery close by, as is fish & chips on the wharf.
Adventure world water park no too far away
Woulda been great for me in '87 but Murray ruined the party by being totally inferior to Connor. Sheeat.....
If ya like your coffee, Roasting Warehouse was pretty OK. Bit easier to get parking than the main drag too.
Yeah cool so basically what all my holidays end up like: drink, check out something local, drunk, eat, drink, sleep, coffee, check out something local, then repeat haha

Sorry Lucas can`t help with Freo as I bypassed it and ended up at Avo`s place, sxxt that can be scary too. ROFLMTO
I think you boys over there should organize a night on the town for the young fellow. just saying.
Avo, clunko, How far are you guys from freo?

Um I think it's early march? Will check.

Well I'm sure we could get a few of us together
lots of things to see and do
depends on what you like
War Memorial above Fremantle Harbour is nice picnic site - with incredible views - day and night
Fremantle Goal and the Round House & Museum if your that type of person
Fish & Greasy's down by the Boat Harbour - huge selection
Esplanade Hotel does a great feed
Kings Park at night - awesome
Kings Park during the day - have a look behind the War Memorial at the slope down to the river - it was modified in the 1920's to resemble the shore line of Anzac Cove at Gallipoli - the lake down there is whats left of where the River used to be
Queens Park (Eastern Perth City - near the Causeway) was modeled on Hyde Park in London - but miniature
Mundaring Weir
Swan Valley wineries
so much to see and do, depending on your tastes
Yeah awesome, cheers col. The Gallipoli beach sounds interesting

Go, go go. Plenty to see and do. Google it. Very multi cultural with heaps of various foods and coffees.
You'll love it and won't be disappointed.
Clunk did some of his own tattoos in Freo jail. Lol
There are trains and buses from freo to Perth if you want to see more or don't like driving. The train nearly runs sakk the way up the coast lone.
Enjoy Fremantle DOCKERS country. Lol
Yeah awesome stuff. Well we'll be there for the week so maybe meet for a few beers and a meal sometime

when you look down, - right behind the Memorial, and looking slightly to your left and see the Lake, (you can imagine the rest of how the river used to be before they put in the Freeway), that is how it looked down to Anzac Cove
to the right, behind the Memorial, is the Gallipoli Steps, down to Mounts Bay Rd - again, modeled on the track at Gallipoli
looking straight at the front of the Memorial, to the Left (about 50-100yrds), is a viewing platform as well, it used to be the US Navy Viewing Platform Memorial - now its something else, as the US Navy pt in a new one
while looking down from the Memorial, basically right in front of you (to the right), where the Narrows Bridge is, is where the US Catalina Float Planes used to take off and land during the War
another piece of useless information for you
Not useless at all mate. quite interesting

If I had the choice between Freo or Perth I'd pick Freo every time. Can go to the War memorial, There's a couple of different Freo Jail tours, roundhouse, Maritime museum, grab some fish and chips and watch the sunset from bathers beach or for a short drive go to Cottesloe.
Just because your in Freo, Perth is only a train ride away if you want to head there.
there is also the old Gun Emplacements in Mosman Park, on Stirling Hwy
gotta do a day trip to rotto rotnest island
just dont hurt the Quokka's, - you will get pinched - they have cameras in most places now
Okey dokey!
Dates are 26th march, leave early 1st April. And I have no idea what my mate has planned in between.
Would be great to tick off a wa 4wd but I'm guessing any of that would be a few hours out of freo?
