So its not a warranty job I take it ?
Where is all the cold ones??? Job can't be done with out some bevvies:)
Thinking some Johnny Cash and Kenny Rodgers just for starters
Looks like some plasma is on the xmas list
Now I need a nimble young fella
to jump up and undo the injector
pipes and not lose the nuts behind
the manifold but I guess that's me
Well what a nightmare this is going to be
every thing went well till I got to the injector
got it undone ok the nut slipped back
the seal all most fell out
now the trouble starts the injector pipe won't
go back far enough to let the seal come away from
the pipe
thinking ill have to strip right hand side to get to the
manifold and fuel pump
Done well this morning got most of loom out of the way
nearly have access to fuel pump
let the first blood out now bandage on
arms are starting to look like a spotted dog
ah well soldier on
You might get away with only removing that pipe from the pump. So if you undo the clamp holding all the pipes together, then the nut holding the pipe to the injector, you may be able to manipulate the pipe out of the way. I fell for ya Roofy. Done this once, and never again will I do it. Big pain in the backside of a job.
Has the rain hit yet, pissing down here ATM, looks as tho its started to cross the mountains. . .
Good progress this arvo once the rain stopped
took some more gear of the motor for easy
access to the pump
got 2 seals done and thinking about leaving
the other 2
thoughts on this
will put up some pics later

Another war wound really dislike 3.0 lt all 4 seals are done
will have it going later today
Holy crap Roofy. Nice war wound on the finger their mate! Just remember to bleed those lines like you did when we first fired it up after the engine swap. Any air left in that pump will mean certain death to it. Well done for getting it done though mate. You have saved yourself some serious coin doing it yourself.
As of 3.45 today the work shop
is closed
Have washed under the truck and bell housing
will see what happens tomorrow
Well done bud. One job you never wish on your worst enemy hey?
