Winnie's high country grand final weekend

Decided to miss the footy and head out bush for the long weekend with two 80 series Cruisers.

This was our first morning, after driving through the night and rolling into camp at 3am! We drove the entire Mt Margaret track. Muttonwood at Licola

From Mt Margaret track we headed up Chromite Mine Track and onto B1 and B2 (this is the drive we did out of Licola on our first forum trip there)

Awesome weekend away even if it was spent with Land Cruiser drivers.

Well of course the patrol was legendary, one cruiser busted a wheel bearing but luckily we were on the way home and on the highway.

That pic of the kids in shorts and t shirts playing in snow is aussie as!

Great photos Winnie. Wish I was there. Hang on, I was. Must of just missed u as we were going to head UP billy goats sat morn, but Toyota was playing up. I could go up there every weekend.

About 750 from door to door. Around 600 on dirt tracks.

Lol! Yeah didn't get any use though dammit! Those Toyota's are more capable than we are led to believe haha

you had a better grand final weekend than most of us. Nothing better than family trips like that with photos for your kids to look back on in many years to come. thanks for sharing

Not our kids mate but they are our niece and nephew so family all the same.
