New kid on the block!
Hi fellas,
Names Ash, I drive a GQ Patrol TD42 non turbo its my second GQ and I'm hooked for life I reckon!
I live on a remote station in the Kimberley at the moment, and the knowledge of you members on here has saved my a$$ so many times I've lost count (no mechanics/sparkys etc up here!!). Love this forum and thought its about time I joined in and get involved too.
Attached a picture of my truck, its got 2" lift, snorkel, spotties, dual batt, 33's, tinted windows... many more mods on the way too ;) recently swapped in another TD42 engine with way less k's and more kick.

Its an awesome place for sure mate. Prime hunting and barra fishing on my doorstep so I get out there any chance I get!! No :beer: though as its a dry community... Can't win them all...

Been there done that, small price to pay IMO.
FYI instead of downloading the manuals there is more
info if you ask a question, but not much goes wrong with the
trusty 4.2 if serviced regularly

Cheers threedogs! I bought a hard copy of the Haynes and Nissan manuals a while back, keeps me on top of servicing and stuff. Ill be sure to pick a few brains on here if I have any majors!
Where were you based in the Kimberley mate?
