Hi everyone i have a question is it hard to to the front wheel bearings on a gu patrol?
Not hard if you have the tools check out Mudrunners DIY thread on it plenty of pics the lot
Piece of cake. If i can do it anybody can
As per 3D's post check out mudrunners thread its very comprehensive. GQ patrol is exactly the same except for the locking ring setup but you will get the idea
Thanks guys

Check out that thread mate, easy enough. The race can be a bigger to get out of the hub but you should be able to get it done.
looks like I will have to tackle this job very shortly, will ha ve to get all the bits n pieces first. Tis a great write up MR but at the moment, I'm not confident lol
Well you see, I thought that if you changed all the bearings, then it would a be a full rebuild, or can you just change those bearings that sit on top and bottom of the hub (whatever theyre called) without having to remove other bits n pieces.
In my case, the drivers side has a vusuble leak, the passenger side does not leak but have noticed one of the rubber seals is no longer sitting correctly and the wheel wobbles. So I was thinking I'd be up for a full rebuild as you showed in your thread
DIY thread on wheel bearing is just what i am after, mine need adjusting...thanks MudRunner
