Welcome to the forum Douga1. It's a great place to research your Patrol or just have a chat.
Thanks for the welcome guys.
I have recently moved on from my loaded 97 GQ wagon to a 2010 GU8 auto 3lt wagon. Modifications are just starting but at present it's running West coast suspension with 2"lift and 200kg to GVM. Rhino racks ,basket, awning, shovel holders. ARB winch bar , Dual batteries. Mickey Thompson ATZs . Compressor , canvas seat covers and a nice big stereo to drown out the kids. We often run up the Dampier Peninsula in it and along Cable Beach, the auto is a dream in the sand. Gibb River trip this winter , Bell gorge here we come!
G'day mate welcome to the forum.

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.
Do you have any favourite camp spots up the Peninsula?
Know’em all except for Banana Wells ........... unless you mean Coconut Wells.LOL Had some friends who lived up at Coconut Wells - they have now moved east. Also stayed at Millinbinyara for a bit & walked the Lurijuarri Trail with the Goolarrabooloo folk in 2009.
Bully’s camp up there just past the airstrip was a great spot. And Lenny & Jacinta’s place at Whalesong(Munget).
Mate, I dream of getting back up there sometime. You are so lucky. You read of all these folk who pass through Broome & slag it off, but they never get to see the ‘real’ area like you can. Mmmmm I can almost taste the Bluebone if I shut my eyes.
welcome to the forum........
