Line em up gents... New years resolutions

Well after a crap year of multiple illnesses and other problems, I'm not going through it again. In my case a couple of resolutions I've already started on.

What's on your plans to improve your life/situation/health?

I've set the following goals:

Lose 30kg over the year. I really need to lose more but I think that's an achievable goal.

Buy a house/property. It's been 10 years since I lost everything in a divorce, I'm finally in a good place to take that next step.

Spend more quality time with my boys, they are growing up fast.

Get out on the tracks more often. I love the bush, I need to get out there more.

All doable.

Get on top of finance, less work and get out camping more!l

The above sentence doesn't make sense though.

To retire out the scrub and live like a hillbilly:)

To make my life better than it has been and find a new direction ...

Lose weight and enjoy the outdoors more this year.

More camping, more 4wding all with less fatty bits

loose weight and quit smoking... how cliche right?

me well besides trying to be more grumpy than i am already (yes Daz more grumpy and miserable lol) i am selling my house and putting the business on the market and looking for a small home around Denmark down on the south coast of wa and then will be looking at doing some extended trips towing a van, the moon and stars just need to align so it will fall into place but i will be doing my best to make it happen, im over working and putting up with customers and the stress of running a small business.

my new years resolution is to not make a new years resolution

Goodluck with the 30kg weight loss my youngest son lost 45kg in about a year, just doing skipping sit ups now he's at 90kg
and a weapon no more fat boy jokes which hurt and being a parent I could see him hurting,.
As for the weapon part he took up MMA boxing, won his first fight in November good he's not in that Vladimir Glichgo weight division
but at 6.4" he can now hold his own.
For my self I hope to get rid of this back pain if having another Op is required so be it.

Takin a year off work to do some travelin arround the country in my delicious off road van and nifty patrol ute. Oh I forgot it's goin to happen already been approved for leave for me and the missus.

Just thought I would post up to brag ha ha .

Seems I am not the only one keen to get out camping/4x4ing more in 2015, also I am making it a resolution to not buy from the big chains where possible (woolies/coles in particular) and spending my money with the little local guys.

Also on a slightly different note, a 2014 resolution of mine was to get healthier and fitter so I am now eating paleo, haven't had a alcoholic drink since May and I am lighter at 27 than I have ever been since about year 9. For those thinking about a healthy change with weight loss to boot look at binning the processed foods and sugars and moving to paleo/wholefood diet, its not easy at the start but very worthwhile.

So in 2015 bring on more of the same plus perhaps a bit more vertical leap so I can start dunking at basketball :-P

Not going to harp on it but go to your doctor get some Champix tablets.
I smoked over 60 a day, more if I go camping with drinking and such.
Havent had a durry now for 3 years plus dont even think of them.
Mate if I can give up anyone can here to help, your body will thank you too.
Get onto those "E" smokes while you are quitting.
After quitting my weight stayed the same 83kg, been like that for years
and 183cm tall

To retire and live in the scrub permanently like I have been for the last 3.5 months as I cruise around our country

To stop eating treats (GF free biscuits and Kalamata olives), and to put the money saved towards a good off road camper.

Read less books. A little learning is a dangerous thing. Too much of it can really wreck your head.

Gain weight, at least 40 pounds. Didn't your mom always say you were bit skinny.

Cut down on exercise. Too much is bad for your health, it can even kill you.

Watch more TV. It's very educational. Catch up on all those programs you missed down the years.

Draw up a list of people who were nasty to you in the past year, get your own back on them in the next year!

Drink more. Wasn't it Benjamin Franklin who said, beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. So be happy.

Eat more nice things like candy, Big Macs, popcorn and ice cream. Eat less crap like fresh fruit, vegetables and soy nuts.

Work less. Take it easy. All work and no play can make you a dull boy or girl.

Play more computer games. Scientists say they're good for you and improve your visual skills. But you always knew that.

Take up some worthwhile new habit, like smoking - it helps keep tobacco workers in jobs.

I will drink less beer, last year I drank enough beer to have kept the Titanic afloat.

I will spend less money on buying useless stuff like this new DVD Rewinder I had ordered for christmas.

I will drive more carefully, people are starting to notice the dozens of dents in my car.

I will treat my girlfriend better, I won't make her carry all the groceries the next time we go to the market.

I promise to be nice to my dog. I won't starve him to death more than 10 times.... in a month.

I will no longer interfere in a game.

I will never again take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I will never again eat a jack fruit before going to a public function.

I resolve to hold my breath and pull in my paunch when I cross my young secretary.

I will stop saying," Ooh, that feels nice" whenever the security guys frisk me at airports.

I resolve not to see any serial or movie in which any dead character is brought alive.

I resolve not to call any phone number of any TV contest as they are always kept off the hook.

I resolve not to swim in any swimming pool without water.

I resolve to stop poisoning my family with my cooking.

My New Year resolution is: 1024 by 968 pixels!

Learn what the hell "resolution" means.

I promise to stick to these resolutions for more than a week (even though I never do).

I can't take Champix, I'm on warfarin and nexium and they don't work with champix

Oh and I have an ecigarette I'm working on that lol
