I've tried to download the reference manual but can't get it to download to iPad and when I try to open in pdf file it comes up 0 bytes.

which manual are you trying to download mate?
when joining up did you verify your email address...?
Nissan patrol reference document and yes I did verifie my email address, lots of post too

4. Paste the link into the Google search bar. Then tap the search button that's on the right hand side of the search bar.
The full manual should then start downloading........
