I will pass my holidays on Gold Coast until 1st november to 15 november.
During my stay i want buy parts for my Nissan Patrol Y61 (3 doors) model year 2008:
One set of coil spacer ( lift 40mm or 50mm ) and set for gear box spacers ( transfert case)
Where i can buy it near Gold Coast ?
I will try find store directly but if you can help me... I live in New Caledonia and speak English badly...lol
Why spacers?
With that sort of lift you'll need longer shocks to..
But don't worry about the gearbox spacers. There not needed with a 50mm lift
I want spacer because it's light for travel on my lagguage and it's less expansive..
And on my home i already had TJM shock absorber (+4cm).
So you have a GU/GR shorty, any pics, we dont see these often
Most 4wd accessory shops should be able to help you out
yeah I've never seen one in Aus! But saw heaps in Europe - more GU shorty's than LWB

Did you have store accessories name near Gold Coast ?
I honestly think buying online and getting them delivered would be cheaper.
As for lift coil spacers are a poor option springs are the way to go
do you know where abouts you will be most of the time on the gold coast....there is a lot of accessories places there and spread out far and wide...the gold coast is a big area and isn't just surfers paradise...I think you will get the same advise re-springs as opposed to spacers from them also as has been advised to you on here...As mentioned , online with delivery may be a good option if weight is your only concern
Labrador , ashmore , Nerang , ..good places for dealers...and then Burleigh heads , which is on the other side of surfers....maybe you should just google 4x4 accessorie places and then let your fingers do the walking ...

I bought my dobinsons springs from him for 300.00 less than dobinsons could supply...was free delivery in qld but I think he charges freight now...maybe you could use part of the lower cost to go towards freight overseas....he is in Glenview qld...0412281319

They go above the spring, and by memory the front are a different size to the rear. So you can't get it wrong.Quote:
