What the hell happened last night?

I got bombarded with a gazzillion text messages from eff' knows who. I was having a great time up in Kinglake drinking some elses beer, standing around a fire as it was brass monkey weather up there and I got seven texts with a minute and it continued for around ten minutes. I got a 5 sec vid that was blurry a hell. Dunno who that was. I think Daz, Andy, Jonathan I think Drew and Nic maybe where in on it. Hard to tell it was as I was so effing drunk by that time.
So what was going on? I still can't decipher all the jumbled messages. Atleast my gonads had a good time as the phone was vibrating in my pocket non stop for the time...:tease:

lol i guess you could call andy the instigator, as he was silly enuff to send the message around. however ill admit, i did write back and start all andys non-forum contacts freaking out with my smart ass remarks. i was considering being a little more crude and rude in the original message, but was worried about who might see it... im glad i didnt include some select profanities =P

Ok here's the deal...


I decided to send my parents, brother and in laws a group sms advising them of the new sat phone number.

Then I thought I should send the number to some members on the forum as well.

So I just typed in np as a lot of the members names here are Kris np. If you didn't get an sms then you mustn't have an np after your name...lol

Anyways it started a huge group sms chat and all you blokes started sending photos, videos and talking absolute crap!!!

I got inundated with calls from family asking wtf have I done, who is this Mudski person, are you in king lake, etc...

My favourite one was from my mother in law "is this how a satellite phone works? Do they all have one and this a sat chat"...gold!!!

Anyways we freaked out a few people...

But is it fixed AB? If I text you will it go back to group chat again mate?

I deleted my original group message and it all stopped.

I wonder how that works though???

They were all mms messages Kris. When I replied to someone it went straight to them and not the group.

I got some but not others. And I think some of my replies may have had F bombs :)

This explains it. Was kinda funny though, I couldn't keep up with the texts coming through and everyone at the party were like, wtf is up with your phone?
