Good shots as well...................
Is the sky really so blue over there, or have you used a CPL?
-
Awesome shots! I Love the Flinders.

Love the third shot shows how much water flows when it rains,
Iconic part of Australia and a must do on any bucket list.
Dad used to take us to Wilpena Pound every year

Could be a filter but you can get the odd day that's really clear

All of these are Canon 5D with either a 12-24 or 24-70 lens on.

Nice camera, out of my price range.
Would guess knowing how to use the camera makes the biggest difference.
Love the second photo, looks like the clouds are all emanating from the hill.

Dunno what it is like in Aus, but people tend to always want the latest gear, so you can get some superb older cameras very cheaply. Always worth considering.
The lenses are the biggest expense, but hold thier value well.
Love these shots, I struggle with landscape stuff, I see something thinking that it looks great, get home and the photos look crap. Mrs Frac is far better at artistic stuff than me.

I recently bought a poor mans DSLR, a Canon 600D with a 18-55 & a 55-to 250 lens's and happy with it.
Thought about going second hand but was worried about getting one with faults.

Nothing wrong with that set up mate, just take some time and learn how it all works together.
Feel free to ask any questions and i`ll help if I can, as i`m sure some other guys will.
