Into - 2 Patrol owner.
Hi All,
I've been a member on here for almost a year, but havent posted anything so thought it was about time I did.
I live on property in East Gippsland right next to the bush, it is literally my backyard. I own two nissan patrol Y61's. A 1999 Series 1, originally a 2.8TD, but converted to a 5 Litre V8 a few years back. It goes very well and is my main offroad bush/camping vehicle. The only thing I do not like about it is the fuel consumption, but hey - what do you expect from a 5Ltr in this heavy truck.
The second is a GU Series 9 (2013). this is my new daily drive and I love it. 3Ltr TD. It is only 3 months old still very new and very un-modified. Eventually it will become the camping / touring vehicle as most things on the series 1 will come across (IE: wheels, tyres, drawers, roof rack, lights etc).
meanwhile I have the best of both worlds...
Looking forward to chatting to you and various things and helping out where I can.
