Short story is I misjudged a distance at a T intersection had to accelerate heavily, massive cloud of soot was shot from the exhaust the car behind me had to slow down haha. Is this a problem? Or?

nah just a gut full of fuel IMO
Yeah, it didnt seem to happen again for the minute or two afterward I had to go home. Really have to make sure my driving style is suitable for a Diesel engine actually, use to my daily driver.
Nothing wrong with a bit of soot:D
She's getting a major service tomorrow, anything is wrong hopefully they'll catch it!
Thats why they are called "Oil burners"
:p Love a good Diesel Cloud, and the 4.2 can produce them with the best ..... as long as I am not breathing it though .......
The guy in his shiny new prado wasn't so happy ;)
If it Ain't Smokin you ain't got enough fuel ;) turn er up!!
That's one of the reasons I love Summer, nothing better than a yuppy in a convertible behind me
I like to soot in front of a prius.
Not so much my patrol, but my D22 from brand new, used to leave thick black fog behind me where people literally had to slow down. It was so bad, guys at work were doing their best to leave before me so they don't have to choke on the fumes after I took off down the road, and especially the ring road on ramp when you hammer it to achieve the 100.
All was good after I blocked the EGR though. lol
Mine doesn't often smoke that's why I was asking. Just one massive cloud haha.
That cloud on to a Prius and I would of crashed from laughing
