Tyres are Bridgestone Duellers A/T
Yea a bit mate. Most run 38-40 on the black top.

That's interesting. I find that the middle of the treads on my HT 31x10.5 15 wranglers chew out at anything above 28-30psi.
i run 40psi with my BFG AT
ireckon run anything between 30 and 40 psi and see how it feels
did you check the pressures cold or after you had been for a drive?
40 psi for hwy, for max fuel economy
35-38 psi around town
Check the wheel nuts every other month as they do come loose
What is the recommended pressure as stated on the tyre, it's no use just throwing figures if they are manufacturer specs
I run around 40 round hwy and town. 265/75r16 mt atz 4 rib, from what I can tell wearing evenly but only about 5000km on them so far.
Thanks all. Yes they were cold pressures. I was back at the dealer today re some other small issues and discussed with the service manager. Agreed they were to high and recommended 40 as per most suggestions here. That's where they're at now. Cheers.
I run 230 Kpa (33 psi) on my Pirelli Scorpions 265/75/R16. I gather from this thread that they are under inflated. Very interesting!
33 is not bad. I'm not sure of the amount of k's you do in Botswana but here in Aus most do a good 100+ kilometres just to get to tracks. So to preserve fuel.... Lol
40 is at the top end for a empty Patrol you may find 36 front and 38 rear more comfortable around town,
but hwy for fuel economy I run 40psi. So you have 35 to 40 to find your sweet spot. Check tyre pressures atleast
once every two weeks.
Hey locknload b careful with those bridgestone duellers the side wall is rubbish and I had the tread peel on two of mine running 38 psi on a gravel road .I googled them and a lot of other people with same trouble so I switched over to bfg ats as mine is a work ute and time is money as they say . The duellers had only done 5000 klms so tyre place gave me $110 each for the three good tyres . Luckily a pal gave me a lend of one of his split rims before trip or I would have been walking.
maybe I got a bad batch westy but once bitten twice shy.
I like 32 psi front and rear , more in the back if towing or loaded up
Depends on vehicle weight. At close to 4 tonne when fully loaded I run 38psi front & 50psi rear. In it's everyday partially loaded state 38psi front & 46psi rear. 265/75 16 bridgestone d697’s.
