Yeah answered. It looks pretty good. How soon would you be wanting to look at something like this?
Hopefully I can go look on Friday (my day off) but soon as insurance pay me out ....

Offer 20 don't pay more than 22
Spoke to the guy today & explained my situation - he was happy to give me his mechanics details so I could check in with them ... Ill be pissed if he sells it before I'm in a position to look & make an offer

If insurance payout quickly and I've got $$ was gonna take a cheque ready to go for $22k ... I've priced what the extras would cost me & there's another one I like that's local (2004 STL with 179k on clock) but is have to put the extras on it which by time I was finished would cost me $22

Looks clean BUT!
THAT IS NOT A GUIV it is a GUIII. The GUIV is the shape change. I reckon that would be top dollar for a GUIII, if you hang out for a GUIV you will likely have a CRD ZD30 I would think and in 5 or 10 year will still hold better value as being the first of the current shape versus the last of the 1998 shape.
If you can find a GUiv then you will score the updated interior too. Completely different dash.
Don't be in a hurry mate, borrow the paseo and find the right one. This may be the one but price it against other GUIII instead of GUIVs in the market.
Moi? A snob? HELL YEAH !!! Mum picked me up the day Frank went missing and her first comment was " oh look - the crapbox (she said the s word) is coming to the rescue !!"

Did REVS check today at work and it says it's a GU IV??Attachment 32103

Boys at work did a market valuation from Glass's which is what insurance companies use and it came back at $21 without any mods

This is a GUIV

My GUIV TD42Ti is an 11/2004 and it is a GUIV.
There is NO QUESTION Amelia, sorry, that is NOT a GUIV
The model change must have been right around then, that would have been a runout model mate.
There's that 07 one I listed in the eBay finds as a dream just before Frank went missing (clearly jinxed myself) but at 233k for an 07 I ain't touching it

Have a look in Redbook.Com.Au will tell you when the model changes occurred...... In the case of a GU IV, they arrived Oct 2004.
Just goes to shows how much the revs checks are worth hey. Good pick up MR.
My folks went to the Google Play Store and all they got me was this lousy Motorculture App!!!!!!!
Yes !! Good pick up - even the glasses check shows it as a GU IV which is pulled from the VIN????

Is it possible being a transition year they were all labelled as GUIV? I have a similar model to yours daz with exactly the same running but the utes still retain the old shape all the way through to current.
I used to have people telling me my 1999 GQ Ute doesn't exist until I showed them the compliance plate and vin.
I'm so glad I have you guys here!! Cuz regardless I do like it BUT I want to clarify this issue before I make any final decisions
THANK YOU ALL for your input

So now do a Redbook valuation on a 2004 GUIII and see what it says?
Just jumped on my laptop to do that .... plus Brad just dished up dinner so I'll be back !!!
Reading your text in conjunction with your pics made my ears prick up.
Mudrunner is spot on. GUIV is the change of shape.
Amelia, I'm not trying to dent your excitement, but I bought my '05 GUIV with 121xxxkm on the clock for $25k over a year ago and its Mickey Mouse! I did however buy it privately not through a dealer. Again not trying to boast or be a downer, just wanted to add some perspective.
All the best with whatever you decide!
LESS YAP YAP, MORE TAP TAP!!
Here is another GUIII with a 12/04 compliance and listed as a GUIV but is not. Under 200,000ks and under $20k

Agree with Darren, that photo is not a GUIV.
Mine is a GUIV with a build date of 10/2014.
That one must be just before the change over.
Edit. built date should be 2004
