I've been for a ride in one, the power is unbelievable! Would leave a V8 200 series for dead. So comfortable, quiet...... brilliant car!

I hate to say it mate but a Y62 TI-L at work is only 80k new..... But from what I've seen of them at work, (this is my opinion, not that of Nissan) but I don't think they're a "real patrol" v8 petrol, no barn doors, that's the patrols heart and soul! They are reallllllly nice to drive though, and the new suspension design is good. Overall a good 4wd though.
I was at a dealer the other week and the Y61 looked so outdated and insignificant sitting beside the Y62.
The dealership salesman also called the Y62 the "Patrol" and the Y61 the "Y61".

The Patrol is dead and buried now. What dumbass would pay 80k for a 4wd to take out in the bush? Stock at 80k too...

Still a bunch of Y61's coming into work, we have I think 10 ordered and in the holding yard from memory (I work for Nissan in Toowoomba) patrol Utes are more popular than the wagons though
the luxury tax on that patrol for 99k works out at $12 k
