WOW!!! Spectacular shots mate.
Great shots mate, thanks for sharing!
Nice pics buddy. Looks nice and warm over there.
I especially like the first one where your sitting under the shade of the coolabah tree having a nice cold beer....LOL
Wouldn't have any trouble finding dunes to conquer.
Not sure of your environment or seasons around where you live but, How do you go finding somewhere to get the Trol muddy ???
or creek / river crossings etc ???
Cheers Pete
Thanks heaps for the photos mate, you certainly have some great looking country over there.:kewlpics:
desserted desert?
Amazing countryside you have there gxr. And yes, some of it does look edible ... Gelati perhaps. Or Napolitana ...
Glad you all enjoyed those .
They are all from one trip, 3200 KM in 22 days and the GU guzzled 720 liters of petrol 700 of which were carried on board !
whoa
thats awsome mate ,do you travel in 4x4all the time or are there hard patches like claypans along your routes
Thats why we own a 4x4, try & see sights like that in a single stick.....
Thanks for the pics mate, bloody brilliant.
You blokes have some spectacular looking country over there, NICE
:frown:Mud? Creeks? Water? What are these?
;);)
In the great sahara we have sand and .............more sand and a few rocks here and there !
Of course we have the river Nile running through the middle but thats all inhabited and quite civilized so not really an off road area, mind you thats only about 12% of country the rest is pure desert.
Fantastic photos there mate
Awesome pics, dont know where you managed to fit all the jerry cans lol
what amazing pics, thanks for sharing with us all. how on earth did you manage to carry 700L of fuel?? thats incredible
Thank you all, glad you enjoyed these.
As for the fuel question: 8x2 jerry cans on the roof= 160 lit + 8x 60 lit chlorine cans in the trunk( had lots of fumes the first day, but overcame this by plugging the vent holes in the caps with some epoxy)=480lit+140 in main and sub tank =780lit !
gxr, I tribute You!!!
Have balls to go by car into country like that. In summer I've been in Kola Paninsula RUSSIA and I wondered how many days would it take to get out of there. But that is nothing compare to Your trip.
