alright money is to tight so decided to give the rear draws a crack. so far so good its a work in progress.
the first part was the hardest debating which way to go
still going need some marine carpet or similar and longer bolts to secure it to the floor.
Looks great...... Well done
Not to sound negative because they look great, but particle board..
If I was you I'd be saving up asap, building one using 12mm ply as particle board will just fall to pieces once off road.
But top design. I like how you have left the fridge low but gone higher with the draws.. nice job.

cheers for the coments. first try at this so i'm happy and only cost 200 bucks, labour was free for the love of it.
Whats something like that weigh? I can decide what way I want to go with my rear draws its doing my head in lol
Top job there!
You can't put a price on the satisfaction of nutting it out and building them yourself.
Keep the pics coming, looking forward to seeing the finished product
Great job - lots of time invested there.
Mine should be around the 60kg mark once completed.. ill stick my build up when done

going to be different and go with checker plate lino after sealing the wood. that way any spills will be a easy clean up. will weigh it and post photos on sunday.
Looks good mate, I'm sure your proud of your work. Storage is always a big talking point on the forum.
still coming along waiting on some aluminium checker plate for the rear doors
Good job mate, well done!
A 2.4x1.2 sheet of 12mm is only $30~, I'd go new and have it all shiny.
Just pre-drill and counter sink the holes.. sweet as..

Good idea, today it's probably Chinese ply :)
I know ours is local, the local mill makes it.. :p
But still its cheap quality.. trying to compete they push it to quick, had to wet mine down and re set it to remove a 60mm bow in 2 of the 3 sheets...

A lot of fastners are made in China. I bought gal nails to fix up weatherboards and they rusted within weeks, leaving rust trails on the new paint :-(
Looks great...... Well done
Iam off to the shead LOL
rest of the photos are to big have to resize them
nearly there hard to do alot on 12hr shifts and 2 little kids.
to many photos and not enough work or to many beers and hiding in the man cave.
Looks good mate I'm doing the same style
Looks good mate, What was the end weight? Did you get it covered marine carpet?

Where did you get the lockable handles from?
Cheers,
Eric.
