Tallarook meet up 12th &13th April 2013

In advance to your comments... SHUT UP CHRIS/KRIS!!!!!!!

Meet up for Friday the 12th and Sat 13th and 14th of April, head up friday for those coming a long way or those that just want to camp and then driving all day Saturday.



Driving conditions are weather dependent but most is medium and as the track are short members not wishing to do a track can meet up round the other side of the track.

This is a good day for all levels of experiance.

No toilets and the camp ground will be worked out depending on numbers.

Uhf17 used for this meet and all welcome

This is not an official meet but a few mates going camping and heading out for a drive so the onus is on you for safety and any damage is at the risk of the owner.

Not much difference to sitting in jump seat or driving but love camping so, all good
basically my back yard. Might be able to get those lights off AB at the same time,,,

If I can make it I'll be bringing pup with me.

Keep him close heaps of dogs in this area that run off after pigs and deer and never come back.

Dunno if they're baiting up there too...

Yeah mate I still have them. I did a tip run the other day and thought I better keep them for you so good to hear you still want them.

I bring my dogs all the time to that place... I think they know it better than most of you lot..

Kelpies are a pack animal and not huge scent dogs so would find it very unlikely they would bugger off, never seen bait signs in that place and I talk to the guys that work that place all the time as it comes in handy to get a heads up on the goings on!!

If you want I'll bring a boom boom ta scare the pigs away... ha ha ha!!!!

There are some people who I would hope and expect to come..... now they dont wear the pants in there family so I dont expect to hear a firm "YES I AM COMING" but maybe a wimper or a yahoo "I AM ALLOWED TO COME" closer to the day.

Now they are trying to pick the right time to bring up the subject or waiting for a good mood????? he he he!!!

I really hope to get there.....got something going on that may prevent too much weekend fun in April but not quite sure yet....

Think I've managed to swap a weekend at work. 90% in on this now!

Haven't spoken to the misses yet but will say I am in for this one and will try and stay till the Sunday. We have to move out by the end of April so also depends on when that happens.

Going to woodspoint today stay over night
havea drive on the coach road then come out at the frenchmans gap track
then head down there again

We did Morning Star and Pheasant creek tk's out of Scott's reserve at Woods Point, they weren't a bad drive. The climb out on Morning Star was quite good. A few old mine shafts up there too....

Drew and myself are going for a little play on the 16th and are going to check out different camp areas, where I want to camp by the dam might be a tight squeeze if we get many along??

The car is over cooling, does not get up to temp in normal driving ... I am pricing up some other stuff at the moment so I can do all the work needed at the same time.

Looking into radiators at the moment and hear conflicting things all the time????

thin out the coolent before you spend dollars on it sounds like the mix is wrong

If you want a good quality Aluminum rad then try kool rad be about $220

I have been hammered at work the last few days but will look into radiators when I get a chance..

Looking forward to another trip away with the goon squad ... should be fun!!!

Are you going to come down for this Kris??
