I'm with you Kris, even as a GQ owner I believe that your nuts if you have them fitted should be checked many times of the day and any adjustments made if necessary.
I like to check them as soon as I get out of bed. It's much easier to do this if you are wearing loose fitting pants, it makes it more comfortable to crouch down and have a good look.
We are talking about wheel nuts aren't we..........

First time I have read this thread, I previously thought it was something to do with checking for cancer.
I have not checked my nuts since I got the car, guess I better do it.
Is it a problem with steel rims or just alloys?

possibly could have used it on my trailer but other one was to far gone
All checked. Were a little loose, a quick fiddle and there tight again.

So on a serious note, the GU has probs with loose nuts? Is that why my GU IV has the indicator caps that go over the the nuts, and is it standard?
I went to a catholic private school so the Marist Brothers checked all our nuts regularly.
Are all GU's prone to "loose" wheel nuts or only the earlier one's? I heard back left was more susceptible to coming loose?
Lost one on a 09 so I'd say all are
Edit lost a alloy and almost a steel also
Ironic this came up today , had mine checked today and all good no more kids , and the patrol is fine too
