A couple of questions if you guys wouldnt mind.. How much lift would you say this truck has had ?
How do I measure ?
Next question. Do you know what computer/?black box would be doing underneath the truck ?

Final one - I have four of these in the boot, any idea what they would be used for ?

Nice truck. Congrats.
The last pic looks like 4 x cargo tie down points.
Did your truck come with an Owner's Manual? Check it out.
Take care out there.

Indeed, nice truck!
I very nearly bought one of these bad boys but went with a GQ instead....
You could follow the wiring, that will give you a clue to what the black box is.
As far as the lift goes, not being a GU driver, I'm not sure but it'll looks like about 50mm in the pics.
Go and find a stock one on the street somewhere measure the tire clearance and compare it to yours....not 100% accurate 'cause old springs sag etc. but it'll give you an idea....if the owner comes out and yells at ya, run! Good exercise! LOL. Also you can poke your head underneath and check what brand of springs and shocks you've got.

Little black box could be electronic rust protection. Can't help with your suspension but measure from centre of hub to bottom of your wheel arch, post up your measurements and hopefully someone with a stock gu can help
Don't stroke it, TAP it!!!!.....

I just checked under my patrol gu dx it has the little box too
-
The four rings are tie down points and the black box definitely looks like as others have said electronic rust protection, not sure on lift but pics look lie maybe 2"!

The little black box is just a plastic cover to protect the body to chassis electrical plugs.
If you remove the cover you will find 3 connectors behind it.
In the photo you can see one harness runs up through the floor, (comes through just under the LHF seat) and the other harness runs down to the tail lights etc.

Here is a thread I started with links to figure out the manufacturers height of your patrol model

yeah the black box is just a plug cover ..

Clean looking 4x4, I'd say 2" lift but may look more if only running 265s
What size tyres are you running

On your lift. by the receipt I have from when the OME 2inch lift was installed it says...- front left pre fitment : 750mm
- front right pre fitement : 755mm
- rear left pre fitment : 785mm
- rear right pre fitment 779mm
- front left post fitment 804mm
- front right post fitment 807mm
- rear left post fitment 843mm
- rear right post fitment 843mm
all measurements taken from bottom of guard to lower section of the rim. 16inch rim too.

Few pics from the weekend. My mates GQ makes mine look like it isnt lifted

You can figure out the lift by measuring the bump stop heights.
I think the superior website has all the stock heights. just measure yours and compare.
Nice truck mate :)

I got some dims off a spec sheet but can't find the link. Stock height at time of compliance for series 1-3 is as follows.
Measurement from centre of wheel to underside of mudguard lip.
Front 555mm
Rear 560mm
I found it easier to work this back to a top of wheel dimension for measuring purposes.
My first patrol sagged more than an inch after a few months but I had quite a lot of accessories so don't expect a 3" lift to be 3" if you have a heavy 4x4 especially if it's a td42???
