Sent from the secret chambers of our secret society, on a secret iPhone, with a secret pin code and eye retina scanning from a secret peep hole, just don't tell anyone OK, cos it's secret........
I've got the old Westinghouse with the faux leather handle grip, you know the one, works so bloody well I have to turn it off for a day every now and then because the defrost element doesn't work and the fan gets frozen and blocked up.
Ripper of a fridge, my boss wanted it gone from the factory and I was all over it. Currently stocked with about 40 home brew longnecks that are used in drinking games where you don't want to waste the good piss, haha
Mines close mego won it years ago an hope it never dies at party's my missus makes rum punch in it it's awesome

Yo Winnie heres my mates shed, fridge not that flash, but looked like that pic you posted
The best shed fridge is the one that works!!!!
I have plenty of fridge space for rent at any meet up. 95lts of Evakool. lol
Yeah similar setup. Bet he stays nice and toasty with that oil heater behind there.
Wheres your compassion, best fridge is one you share contents with others,
Plus a coonara for winter, but thats coming to my place this summer
Got to sit on oil heater to feel it. Great shed but
Nah the best fridge is the one that others share the contents of with me.
I have a pet fridge, it follows me every where in the back of the Big Girl,
always got Red cans in it
well here's our shed/beer fridge.
It used to belong to my father inlaw, he bought it for his family when my sister inlaw was born.
Apparently was the 1st "Silent Night" refrigerator to be sold in Cootamundra all those years ago,,,,,,, she turned 60 earlier this year!
They just dont make them like this anymore,,,,,
I sure would like a dollar for every beer this old fella has chilled,
in summer we turn him up and the beer has ice particles floating in the neck,,,awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only thing we have done is replaced the door seal and fitted a new power cord as the old cloth covered lead and Bakelite plug were dangerous!
Other then that "Tommy" has endured 5x house relocations in the last 6x years,,, starts up fresh as a daisy every time!
Hate to think of the power consumption he sucks up though,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Sorry BigFella had to pre date your Awesome looking fridge, looks great too. My three outdoor jobs are from
Shamrock hotel, Bendigo 1854, thats the red cedar one, only use that to lean on like a work bench,
Right hand one I did up, pretty chuffed with the result that holds wine, dont drink wine myself.
Middle one holds tin and dry dog food plus Galah seed for the bird keeps it miceproof.
Top price was $40 but I love these iceboxes, also have plenty of meat safes as well dating from 1860
But they're not a fridge if they don't refrigerate!
Tap, crackle, pop
Thats all that was around until late 50s I think to keep your food fresh.
Maybe not you but I can remember Ice man delivering ice.
We'll call them an awesome wooden esky
Bit too big to take camping though don't ya reckon?
Work well though after these they looked like BigFellas Without power then they chucked a motor on them.
I love em, plenty of history behind them, rather look at them than burn them
Silent Night, man that is going back a fair way. Would have been the talk of the street when that arrived at your place.
Old fridges were popular for weekend shacks around here cause they allways worked after being turned off for a while, the modern ones leaked their gas and buggered the trip away!
Like the ice boxes as well, we really do it easy now dont we.
Lucas they work quite well they are lined with, either wheat husks, seaweed or cork chips.
Plus wood insuates pretty good too inside early ones its just gal sheet, older ones had enamel inserts
very classy for their time
