Eastern wheel works do a mean steel rim, thicker than aftermarket off the shelf jobs, Pricey but great looking rim.
10mm 5 spoke style. were around $190 a corner bare, can powder coat any colour you like very cheap, PM if interested
Heres mine. 15" x 8" Dynamica. I think they are aron $80-$95.
(ps: excuse the embarassing snorkel, its long gone now)
Plenty of photos and vids of mine in my build thread boss, but just coz you're lazy, some more attached!! lol
they're King rims 15x8". Got a weight rating of 1320kg per wheel so nice and strong, but still repairable out bush.
Tyres? Lordy ... I'm supremely happy with the Maxxis Bighorn (as a muddy), but was just as happy with the Mickey T ATZ 4 Rib as a compromise road and off road tyre ...

Lucas, never have I seen someone use aggy pipe as a snorkel, hahaha.
I've got GU steelies painted matt black with kill rust that I picked up for 200 bucks with some dead tyres on. No photos as I haven't got tyres fitted to them yet.
I really like the rock crawler rims that MudrunnerTD has & are thinking of those for our ride.
Me neither! I bought it like that!!
its better now: http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...TB42-Ti/page16
I have a set of US rims. They look a lot like the rockcrawler. Had to shave out the middle though to fit as they were just 108 mm. had a 6mm negative offset as well
With Us rims

Like the look of those rims Kris! Would look killer with the KM2s, very jealous lol
same brand as mudrunner, Pro comp but series 98 with round holes.

I got quoted the following prices this morning. Wheels are neg 13 offset.
I'm favouring the Dynamic round hole wheels at the moment.
I've cracked the welds on two dynamic rims previously, the only way I knew was it caused the tyre to go flat! But I'd have rather that than loosing a tyre that's for sure.
both were replaced and one was even outside of warranty period so good service but I got rid of them as I had no confidence in them.
Has any one used the CSA Ranger steel rims? And if so are they any good??
The quote I got was from our local Tyrepower.
Megatexture, just when I think I'm arriving at a decision, you manage to throw it all up in the air again! Lol. Which Dynamic wheels did you have & what sort of usage? As far as looks go I probably prefer the slightly more open triangular cutouts of the ROH or Kings, but was heading the Dynamic round hole way only because I thought that the round hole design might be a bit stronger (greater metal to hole ratio, & no 'corners' in the holes possibly making cracks less likely to start?). But it sounds like yours cracked on the rim section rather than the wheel centre.
I would've considered the Pro Comp wheels too, but their load rating is too low compared to the others (under 1000kg whilst the others are 1200kg).
Cuppa
Alitis, if the CSA ranger wheels (Mullins) were available in the size I need (16 x 8 neg 13mm offset) I'd go with them as they have a higher load rating than any others I've seen (1500kg) , but unfortunately not available in this offset. Neg 26mm was the closest option I think.
Cuppa
hi fellas im keen on the round hole rims in cuppas pic i have 285 75 16 big horns ready to go, what off set rims would be best, its for an 01 gu wagon ,thanks fellas

Attachment 29391
I'll keep looking thru it tho Cuppa, the problem is our PCS is 138.7 and the other 16x8 neg 13 wheels all have a 150.9 PCD i'll keep you posted mate..
