hi
Would like to introduce myself to this forum just found it today.
I have just bought a gu 2007 cr auto patrol
It will be in the driveway tomorrow
its been about 1 or 2 years of wanting to be able to afford one, after 3mths and looking at 8 patrols found one in good nick.
last time i own a patrol was when i was 19 it was a swb mq sd33 and i gave it curry. I sold it to travel north Qld not thinking it would make it then sore it up there with the guy i sold it to still going strong.

i am look at keeping this car for a long term so i am very interested in picking up as much information as i can to help to look after it.
if all goes well, I think this car and i have a big journey ahead of us.;)

hope the pick worked
misses went through auto car was to get rid of the dirt 7 year of a dirt road and lots of red dust under it.
now removed can see more surface rust unshore if the auto wash would of helped that ???
the body came up good.

iv cleaned my maf
change oil
blocked egr
added a cheep egt
everythink not to bad
disconnected battery for over 24hours
iv notice a bit (different amounts) of black smoke from exhaust from when foot is 1/2 to full
sometimes more than other times, it is more associated with higher rpm
would this be normal

i dont have a catch can yet
