Good size....What bait did you have on?
I was trolling about 5 mtrs of water with a River2Sea 100mm perch look lure
Nice, catch anything else and did you save us a fillet? hahah
We got 4 all up but only one keeper which is in the photo.
At the Cod classic this weekend, got 4 undersized cod, 4 carp and 1 yellow belly yesterday. This morning got two keepers for the comp, 1 at 61cm, 1 at 62cm both caught within minutes on the troll.

Never argue with an idiot, cos he'll bring you down to his level, then beat you with experience. Y2K
Great catch mego, good luck
Hey Mego, I hate you!
This will only be the second year since 2000 that Ive missed the Classic!
Its the best comp Ive attended ever,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,
Good work, What size was biggest cod? Good thing you have the shirt on that would be tough conditions to fish in, or maybe a tad cooler on the Lake.? Next time buddy
Biggest cod caught at the cod classic was 117cm by a female competitor. 350 cod caught and released or something like that, over 4000 carp caught and donated to Charlie carp. Nearly 3000 competitor.

Found a photo at the 2010 Cod Classic. Attachment 23351
And another we got 4-5 years back. Attachment 23352 with a red fin hanging out of its mouth.
Just had a call from a mate Yarrawonga/Mulwala that a 95lbs Murray cod caught today. That's about 42-43kilos. No measurements yet and no photos. So don't really know if its true. At 95lbs, it would measure well over 120cms. I also won't believe till I see it.
Pics MEGO Pics, or just one arm fishing stories
If they caught it on the murry I'd believe it, must of been a good fisho to have land that beast

They did say it was in the lake, if It was Dusko, then I would believe it. He only fishes for the big ones. Deep water holes etc.
Dusko has 5 trophy fish all over 100lbs, all caught on the lake and most out of the Everglades on lake Mulwala.
Pretty sure only one of them come out of the channel going under the border crossing bridge in town.
Yo Mego trust xmas with the family went well. here those options I was telling you about, would give you more than enough light for reversing on a boat ramp. I also have here 6 x 4" 35 watt HID round driving lights,
.
I used to have them on the roof bar like you have, next time you're over this way, pop in and I;ll show you. Even have some awesome internal LED lights. Home all the time
These don't like a Murray cod. LOL
Went for a day trip to Yarrawonga, to see a few of my mates who have been camping there since Thursday.
Left bright and early yesterday morning and got there about 6 in the morning. Launched the boat and went for a fish. We didnt have to wait long before the first catch. It was a hundred mm Cod, yes that's right first fish was 10 cm.
then we got this only moments later

66cm Murray Cod, my biggest so far out of the Murray river in Yarrawonga.
We did get another of the same size but was lost at the boat, just pulled the hook. Right under our nose.
You prick, that's all I want to say!
Very nice bro
.........on the move
Bloody decent cod mate, well done!!!
Nice job mate! I was in Mulwala from tues to sat and didn't land a single thing! Spent many hours around the blue hole and came up with nothing!
Good on ya, nice catch!
Lure or bait?
LESS YAP YAP, MORE TAP TAP!!
I met two older gentlemen who were staying in the caravan park across the road from us. They would go out for three hours in the morning and three hours again at night to my knowledge they did this for 5 days.
They didn't catch a thing until day four, when one of them found a lure on a tree. He caught 3 cod ranging 64-80cm and a Goldie at 45cm all within three hours on the found lure! This was all in the lake.
LESS YAP YAP, MORE TAP TAP!!
X 2 on the Prick bit, ingham Chipees have a lot to answer for lol.

Reports of decent Murray cod, Yellow Belly and big carp being caught behind the weir wall in Yarrawonga.
The water authorities have been letting out a stack of water from Lake Mulwala, raising the levels of the Murray causing a swarm of fish to swim upstream towards the weir.
The area is anticipating over 100mm of rain in the coming days.
Bummer ,Bob and a few of us due to go fishing ,but not much fun with 100mm of rain,
plus I'm going back in soon,
We're you going this week end, or next week end. Cos I would think next week end will be even better
Bobs going this weekend but not sure where, pretty sure surgeon wants me here,
I.m thinking should go up after long weekend, If Janderson is reading maybe his take on the fishing>>
I am going next week Thursday through Monday
Wide Beach near Strathmerton
