stropp and joey troll
Hi Guys, picked up the 04 patrol thursday, got home and the young bloke attacked the stereo as soon as i pulled into the driveway, thing now has doof doof which i can turn off (thank god) friday into mettams in midland opposite my shop for a 3" dump and exhaust, it will get a good cut and polish on sunday and the interior will be stripped out and the floor rust proofed as it has done a fair bit of beach work and is FULL of sand, more pics to come.

well managed to only get the outside of the troll cut and polished and the spotties hooked up with a relay through the hi beam switch, interior will need to be done next weekend.
first pioc shows how bad the headlights were, came up great with a good scrub with the mothers headlight kit, the paint was powdery but came up great with the 3 step polish, pics dont really show how different it is compared to before but I am happy with the way it came up, need to also take the bullbar off and sand back the rust bubles and repaint it which will happen soon.

took the troll out last night for a bit of offroading behind my place, its got deep ruts, sand etc went well for just a short spin to make sure everything worked ok, took it into some fairly soft sand in two wheel drive at normal tyre pressure and went as far as she would and locked the hubs in and into high 4wd and no effort at all, everything checked out ok so now thats done the young bloke is heading to Lancelin this weekend so we know everything works as it should. The spotties we got for $300 from a guy who wrecks the odd 4wd and works for a panel shop, all I can say is wow they are brilliant. Stropp

did a couple more little jobs, pulled the front seats and cleaned under them found $9.10 under the mat on the drivers side and $7.20 in the console "bonus" also tightened up the drivers seat rail that had slight up and down movement and was very annoying, the other good thing was a bung on the passenger floor was not in the hole and there was heaps of dust around it so put that back in and that will help with the dustproofing of the troll, will post up some pics of the stereo and driving lights install. cheers stropp
