I just use a rubber mat under the milk crate. Like the slow cooker idea though.

Yep, after slipping around on the smooth concrete floor with the plastic two step unit, I glued emery paper to the bottom of the feet - problem fixed, no more excursions at exactly the wrong time.Quote:

That is a clever idea, assume there is still a fair bit of heat from above and below, pizza should still be pretty moist as well as the steam has nowhere to get out.
