If aussie made I suspect they are very well made.
Darche are another good brand, do you have a link to the Sundowner
I got the roo systems double swag... Awsome bit of kit...
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's a kind of a multi-colored one... Think my mate used it up the high country on our last trip there, and he said it was good.
IMO you can’t get better than a Saul swag. It’ll outlast you & be good enough to pass on to the next generation! No zips to break or leak. No poles. Double layer of canvas over the top of you means in summer you are warm enough without a sleeping bag (less bulk), & the design is really versatile (can be set up in many ways). Have had mine for over 20 years & still as good as new. I had an extra length (about 75cm I think) of canvas added to the ‘head section’ which improved ‘coverage’ in wet weather, & gives a bigger ‘barefoot area’ when preparing for bed.

I brought my first swag from Elders in Alice Springs in 1980,
still going strong not an enclosed swag like the modern ones, more suited to desert
camping.
There is a mob in Shepparton that make the best swag of all time IMO
cant remember the name sorry, no stepping into them like most others.
you can sit in this swag out of the rain.

i have a Burke and Wills swag and i love it, never leaked even in heavy rain and its all good quality canvas. i got it from here, they were heaps cheaper than everybody elsehttp://www.greatescapecamping.com.au/
Bcf have I think 30% off Boab dome swags at the moment. Single I think is $399 comes down to $279.
I still have my old Darche double swag from nearly 20 years ago when they were made in Campbellfield, northern burbs of Melbourne. The canvas is much heavier than what is around today, so I find it hard to buy another, as I wouldn't mind another double for the kids now so we can do overnight trips without dragging the camper. Whether the canvas used now is just as good or better than my old one, I don't know. Technology changes fast and the lighter canvas might even be better. Not sure.
