We are still waiting for Summer down here in Melbourne ..... Global Warming and all, but I do know what you mean about Brisbane.
I was up there for work about 3 times in the last two months, and the sweat was dripping off me when I was standing still

yup the roads are heavy here and sadly some rather stupid drivers
Traffic will be heavier next week after the kids go back to school
Should have seen the ring rd before the upgrade works, it's actually better now.
I drove from Belgrave to Werribee today.......lots of traffic, glad I don't do that every day :)
