How do people get this stuff. I have never had anything in my life like this and I'm running Win XP with no A/v.
Spam filters are pretty good these days and its all most likely ended up in the junk folder of your email setup..

I dont know how it was sent from my lap top last knight we have trend micro and i put on avg as well that found a ship load of bugs
Hey mudski,
Bit like playing Russian roulette I'd say, your number will come up. Install the AVG Anitvirus Free Edition - will save a lot of trouble in the future, not only for yourself but everyone you correspond with via email.
I work for a multinational IT company and spent some time in online security, believe me the bad guys are out there and they will get you.
Good luck
I think you have been very lucky, I have helped clean up several friends computers that have ended up with viruses from not running A/V.
Your computer can start sending spam without you knowing and you end up on black lists and unable to email anybody.
Or worse, loose everything on your hard drive.
I am running Avast free edition at home, works great and as it costs nothing why not use it.
I know a few people in IT that don't run AV, are you more vulnerable not running AV probable not
How many viruses come out daily that your AV update hasn't updated before scanning your system.......lots!!!!
A person not running AV is not likely to be visiting suss sights and opening links in emails that there not 100% sure of and they are probable more safe than a person running AV that is visiting sites and opening email attachments that there not sure of.
My 2 cents anyway
