There is a story on Ch 7 Today Tonight at 1830hrs 24 Apr regarding the Hines brothers and exposing fake veterans.
It's also sad to see real veterans adding medals that they aren't entitled to, to embellish there service.

Yes, it's a running joke in my circle of army mates, we try and out story tell about black ops we have been on, so secret the army didn't even know.......we try and out bullshit each other just like the wankers on fraudster website :)

We had a copy of my Grandads WW1 medals made for a display I made of buttons, badges, helmet ornaments etc he bought back from Galipolli and France.
We also had some miniatures made for the kids to wear at School and Anzac services.
They were done by Christies in Sydney.
So yes you can get them but I dont think they put the recipients name on the side like the genuine ones.
