How to set your Patrol up for different uses

I'm currently writing up a doc for how to set your Patrol up for different uses. I am thinking of the following categories:

1. Daily driver
2. Touring
3. Towing
4. General off-road
5. Extreme off-road

I want to post this up as a general guide for all so need your help. Firstly - should I include any more categories? Second - what's your thoughts on mods/equipment commonly used in each category? I know there is no one size fits all but there is a certain baseline for each category. If you post or PM me your thoughts I'll compile it with pics to post back to the NP community.

Nice one Jas, top idea.
Couple that come to mind, recovery points, exhaust, roof cage, cargo barrier, leave it to you to sort into which category lol

Are we talking like minimum recommended requirements and then add the a list of other extras to bring it up to spec?

Caz as im finding out the list is endless

More thinking the standard stuff. Seems to be a lot of questions from new people about what should I do to my Patrol if I want to use it for.......

4"lift, lockers, 35" muddies,bars front n rear, winch for starters in extreme
2"lift front locker front bar roof racks rear drawer system,spotties, winch for tourer

Towing - exhaust is a must with a 3.0l,possibly a chip, polyair or similar in the back, coil tower brace just for starters

Hey guys - thanks for the responses so far. Do you think the 5 categories I have listed cover it? Don't want to make it bigger than Ben Hur but I think that would cover 99% of people?

I think that should do.
The only thing that comes to mind is maybe a sub heading to do with terrain :thumbup:

Hi mate - yeah that makes sense. Different wheels, tyres, setup, etc for different terrain types. Hmm - it's coming together now.
