ATM, it's only me and one other on nights.. I start at 7pm, 12 hour shift.. Got about 4 hours work I need to last 12 hours..
Going to be like that all week I think, only 10-12 ppl work days.
But next month I got full house at 70+ blokes for 2 weeks.. Yuk.
We're doing pipe work in a Telstra exchange at the moment. We had a telstra nob come over from melbourne for an inspection. Hes scottish and used to work on rigs off aberdeen scotland and was telling us he shut a rig down for over 24 hours when he knocked something in a plant room. HAHAHAHAHAHA dunno if hes pullin me leg but was a funny yarn!
So when you got a full house do they come in 24/7 for tucker orf are there set meal times
Set meal times, but there's 3 main meals ( breaky, luch, tea.) 2 Smokos durng day and 2 smokos during night. At night we do most of food prep for dayshift, all the baking and cleaning. Probaly have 20 or so on nights, the other 50 odd on days. used to be alot of fun, at times. But fun is a OH&S nightmare now..
