So target practice can be had at any old quarry and you won't stir up shoit.
i do it in my back yard but i can only get a 25m shot in then i need to go elsewhere
I can only get 10m safely into the shed as a back stop
I could get more but I'd be shooting past the back door and my wife would kill me ! Or vies versa lol

I'm not sure ATM, You could alway try going to your local as they will have used bows for sale and you could pick up a bargain or ebay in a good brand ( pse Hoyt bear Mathews) the only issue with this is unless new you don't know if its been dry fired or torqued and damaged the limbs
