And got it registered with gmv upgrade.
So she's a 5 seater good for 3.5 T..

Kallen, with the GU's, I find that the UHFs with the display and speaker in the handset are easier to install and use. You may want to look at these before you open the box on the one you have bought

My radio is mounted here mate if that's any help - ext speaker under the dash . If that's any help man ....

I can't handle things dangling in peripheral vision. Drives me nuts. UHF mounted low gets my vote.
I agree with Darren, would drive me nuts up there.
I will often just drop the mic when driving through tricky stuff but if you do that with it up there it will swing all over the place.
You would be best off getting the mic extension to put the mic on the center console if you want the CB up there.
So I got the buts for the o/h console to fit the smaller radio and then the missus comes around to putting it next to the gear stick...
So out come all the wires I had run the nights before..
Out with the console..
Enlarged the hole that was there to fit the unit in..
Bloody double plug is a bit long so it's not fitted 100% but it's in for a weekend on the beach lol
