I'll put a pic of my walking stick here. later
It's made from a root ball of a Murray river red gum.
I like it
Not sure why but I have always preferred a staff to a stick... not sure about the practicality of it tho... Have seen some amazing walking sticks as well tho...
longer the stick further away from snake you are, lol saw about 1/2 doz on the side of the road that was just Saturday.
tried a sectioned one on the weekend even had small shock absorber in it, Alpine style not for me.
Think Id rather find one and carve it etc etc.
Very noice indeed, doing some research at the moment on registering another business name etc, gotta get something back from all the lw gear I have bought recently lololol
I'm liking that dual stone for sharpening it has a coarse side 400 to remove most
high spots then finish with the 1000 side getting very good results
. Especially with those cast iron knives they are just nasty, so nasty I got some more coming
Some more gear arrived some of those flint fire starters, a survival blanket [gold],
and a molle pouch that hopefully will accept my TX GME 6200 hand held.
Starting to make up a survival kit with compass and some other goodies
I will photo and list all the gear in my survival pack and pouch for you when I get a chance.
Souther leather solutions has been registered as a domain and working on the website, will register the business name this week hopefully
@ OD I wish you all the best with it and if I can help in any shape or form yell out only to happy to help.
On another note talking to a theatre nurse she said normal super glue would be ok for severs cuts as that's all the Hyactyll was yes/no
And my Doc says no point getting an EPI pen as he eeds to document me as needing it and most get thrown out before they are used.
