There apparently not, I heard the ACCC is taking legal action against them now for not following the 4c limit.

Private servos like BP and Mobil or really private servos like the ones you rarely see or hear of? They should get their own discount program going and not drag hard earns dollars from my wallet to pay their way. If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen......
the problem with that is the independent makes about 5cents per litre on sales the big guys screw the fuel companies and also are trying to force the small guys out and when they go you know which way the price will go and it wont be down.
similar to me, i sell aircons and harveys etc are so big they sell them for the same price i buy them for as they get a volume rebate 30% so thats where they make their money.
But they are not all owned by the same company so the profit share does not work. Coles/Woolies make their profit on the groceries and then again on the fuel.
No of course not. But your all helping out the small guys.
Independent Fuel depot gets increased customers due to discounts, local shops, hell it can be a clothing store, get increased customer flow to get Fuel savings..
In turn more money in the shop owners pockets to put into the other shops..
Its a big circle, and unfortunately the big companies have it cornered..
Big chain supermarkets only use the fuel discounts to get you buying at there supermarket, they don't care about the fuel money, the big money is in the groceries!!! you buy there so you get $$ off your fuel. Therefor not going to the small independent servos who rely on fuel as a main income.
hope you didnt get this one seems a bit expensive

had the front drive checked to try and find the banging noise, had the wheels off checked the manual locking hubs all ok took the uni joints out nothing wrong, dropped the diff nothing wrong, the only thing was a worn wheel bearing so its back together and tested, no noise so will have to give her a workout to see that its ok.
Fitted external battery 175 amp Anderson plug and modified jumper leads to suit, no more lifting the bonnet to jump start tojos and pajs for me, Geez I'm lazy.
New Radiator Fan, Belts, front wheel bearings. Oil n filters, linkage arm things. Steering damper. Should drive good now!
I took some folks from our resort in Cana Fistula, Costa Rica to the airport in Liberia. Some very rough roads until you hit the city, but the passengers were amazed at how comfortable the ride was and how the vehicle handled the mountain "roads".
Replaced my alternator.
Should this have abend in it?Attachment 41600
Yeah I hit a log pretty hard trying to get out of a big hole and now my steering wheel is pointing towards 11 o'clock
belt it back straight or if you know someone with a hydraulic press would be ideal.
wouldn't/shouldn't cost bugger all to straighten, fresh coat of paint and away you go
Put a 'his' and 'hers' external mobile phone aerials and a CB aerial on the top of the pod. These new 3 additions compliment my Codan NGT AR HF black whip aerial on the front of the bull bar. Tried for a pic, but the wife doesn't know where her camera is. Sorrrryyyy.
Had a busy one. Ran rubber seals on my CB aerial, found the front passenger wheel bearing was loose and niped it up for the first time. I had done the mq's, so I kinda knew what I was doing. Wheel bearing look new, so must have not been adjusted after the job was done like they all need. Test drive tomorrow, ran out of light.
Also removed 3 accessory wires from the + terminal on the battery and relocated them to a 4 way gold plated terminal tucked neatly in the middle of the looms behind the battery. I replaced them with a single 8 gauge wire, then replaced to 8 gauge going to the dual amps with 0 gauge. That should supply the 2 ch splitter's dual 8 gauge wires with enough for a dual 20a draw from the boot.. Just a neaten up and Im glad its done, friggin wouldnt stop raining long enough for ages to get those jobs done.
At Kalkarindji NT for the week. Saving $275 a night in a donga. Won't take long to pay back tent.
Pretty flash here. I have an ensuite. :)
